The press service of the Pharmasyntez Group has announced the successful completion of an audit by the regulatory authority of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The production site in Irkutsk received a GMP certificate, which allows starting the registration and export of products to this region.
Production Certification
According to the company’s statement, the Azerbaijani inspectorate confirmed the compliance of the Irkutsk plant with Good Manufacturing Practice requirements. The audit covered the verification of the quality control system, storage areas, and technological processes.
Currently, Pharmasyntez production facilities also hold accreditation from regulatory bodies in Brazil (ANVISA), Syria, and Libya.
2025 Production Results
This event became a continuation of the eventful year 2025. According to company information, several projects aimed at expanding the product range and localizing medical equipment production were implemented last year:
- GINATEC Launch: A new plant specializing in the production of hormonal drugs for the treatment of bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) was commissioned.
- Pharmasyntez-Medtech: A full-cycle plant for the production of medical equipment and consumables for hemodialysis has been prepared for launch.
- SIBUR Project: A joint project for the localization of dialyzer production was initiated, aimed at replacing imported components.
International Cooperation and Export
In 2025, the company formalized legal agreements with partners from India and China and expanded its geographical presence:
- BDR Pharmaceuticals (India): An agreement was signed on the construction of an active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) manufacturing facility in the Kaluga region.
- Hualan Bio (China): A strategic partnership in the field of biotechnology was announced.
- Geographic Expansion: Partnership development was initiated with Mongolia, Belarus, China, and Cambodia. Export shipments to North African countries are planned.
- Exhibition Activity: The company participated in international industry events BIOCHINA and CPHI & PMEC.
