Pharmaceutical plant ALIUM, part of Binnopharm Group, is preparing to implement a new ambitious project to expand pharmaceutical production, which will significantly increase the output of granulated drugs. This is reported by the press-service of the company.

According to Anatoly Yaglenko, Binnopharm Group’s corporate director for production activities: “ALIUM is the second largest production site of Binnopharm Group, the development of which is the focus of the company’s attention. This is a mature, but at the same time very modern and constantly updated production facility, which employs highly qualified specialists. In the near future we are planning to implement a project on construction of a new granulation area with a capacity of 15-20 mln packs per year. This will allow the site to reach a new level of production of granulated drugs”.

The press-service reports that ALIUM is a modern actively developing enterprise with a total area of 25 thousand square meters, where more than 650 people work. ALIUM produces the best-selling brands of the portfolio – billion-dollar brands, as well as a wide range of popular drugs.

According to Binnopharm Group, in the first half of 2024, the share of products manufactured at ALIUM amounted to 50% of the company’s sales in money and 30% in packages. In 2023, Binnopharm Group increased its capsule production capacity at the ALIUM plant by installing additional lines, which increased the production of capsule products by 54% and overall products by 32%. In addition, the site carried out the transfer of 21 products over the past year.
