Shvabe Holding of Rostec State Corporation has handed over to distributors the first batches of infrared heaters and multifunctional inhalation anesthesia devices. Russian equipment will work in medical institutions in Baghdad and Kuala Lumpur.
For the first time, an IR heater for newborns “Radiant Heat – BONO” and an anesthesiological complex MAIA–01 are being exported to Iraq and Malaysia – all manufactured by the Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant named after E. S. Yalamov (UOMZ). At the end of 2021, the products passed the registration procedure of the local ministries of health.
Anatoly Sludnykh, General Director of UOMZ said:
The deliveries were realized following the results of the victory in open auctions. Our products were chosen by our partners, among other things, due to their functional and operational properties, which have been tested in practice by doctors in Russia and a number of countries around the world. Previously, we exported respiratory support devices, incubators and phototherapy equipment to Baghdad and Kuala Lumpur. Sending new types of products has become an extension of the existing interaction.
The Radiant Heat – BONO heater is used as the main or additional source of heat for newborns in the process of resuscitation and super-intensive phototherapy of infants in perinatal centers, maternity care facilities, research Institutes for the Protection of Motherhood and Childhood.
The complex MAIA-01 can be used for inhalation anesthesia of children from one year old and adults during surgical interventions and artificial lung ventilation.
These products have been awarded various awards, including as promising developments in the field of science, technology, environmental protection and medicine. Today, medical equipment, including devices for resuscitation and intensive care of weakened infants, manufactured by the Ural enterprise Shvabe, operates in hundreds of clinics in the Russian Federation and abroad.
