On September 21, Biokhimik JSC (part of the Promomed Group) and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Entrepreneurship of Mordovia signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of industrial tourism.

The project was initiated by the government of the Republic of Mordovia for the development of industrial tourism in the region, attracting investments and qualified personnel. Promomed was one of the first to support the idea; the company developed a cycle of thematic excursions at the Biokhimik JSC production site.

The working group of the project set the goal of showing the life of the enterprise from the inside in the most open way, providing an opportunity for schoolchildren and students to «try on» their future profession. After an excursion to the production site, young people will be able to take informed decision in choosing future profession. For Biochemist, this is an excellent opportunity to attract young personnel.

Today the enterprise greeted its first guests – students of the Republican Lyceum of Chemistry and Biology. The young guests went along the route «TransPHARMAtion. The path of a molecule», saw how medicines are produced, got acquainted with the processes of water preparation and talked with specialists from production sites and laboratories.

Future chemists showed great interest in manufacturing processes and the latest methods for assessment of the quality of drug products.

The next time the enterprise will be visited by students of the Lyceum at the Mordovia State University. Within the framework of the cooperation agreement, several excursions for students of specialized disciplines are planned by the end of the year.
