On January 20, 2026, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation conducted a major update of the State Register of Medicines (GRLS). As a result, the agency cancelled the state registration of 71 medicinal products and excluded 14 pharmaceutical substances from the registry. In total, 85 items were removed from the GRLS.
Reasons for Cancellation
According to official data, all drugs and pharmaceutical substances were excluded from the GRLS based on applications from authorized legal entities or holders of registration certificates.
This is a standard procedure provided for by both EAEU regulations and national legislation of the Russian Federation. It is most often associated with commercial decisions by rights holders who are ceasing production or importation of specific forms or dosages.
